These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the entire scope of the annual Bromo Marathon event ("Event"). This includes, but is not limited to, registration, participation, use of the official website, sponsorship, accommodation, event cancellation, safety, and environmental policies. By registering for the Event, participants ("You") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Event Registration and Participant Eligibility

  • Registration for the Event is open to individuals who meet the specified age, health, and fitness criteria. Participants must register through the official event website and provide accurate personal information.

  • Personal sponsorships for participants are allowed but must not interfere with the event's official sponsors or create a conflict of interest.

  • Display of personal sponsor logos or promotional materials is permitted, provided it does not overshadow or directly conflict with the event's official branding.

  • The event organizers reserve the right to restrict the display of certain sponsorships or promotional materials that they deem inappropriate or conflicting with the event's interests.

Accommodation and Travel Arrangements

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. While the event organizers may provide recommendations, they are not liable for any aspects of participants' travel and accommodation, including cancellations, changes, or disputes with service providers.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Registration fees are non-refundable except in specific circumstances such as event cancellation due to extreme weather or other unforeseeable factors. The policy regarding refunds in such scenarios will be clearly outlined on the event's official website.

  • Participants unable to attend the event for personal reasons, including injury or illness, are generally not eligible for a refund.

Safety and Risk Acknowledgment

  • Participants must adhere to environmental conservation guidelines, including staying on marked trails, disposing of waste properly, and minimizing their impact on natural surroundings.

  • The event promotes a 'leave no trace' ethos to preserve the natural environment and wildlife.

Liability Waiver and Indemnification
